New Zealand retail sales are due for release this evening at 6:45pm ET and we believe that the number will be weak. Visitor arrivals and credit card spending both decreased suggesting that domestic demand deteriorated in the month of March. Inflationary pressures have been light, which means that price growth should be limited.
