Headed to Dubai!

Date October 28, 2008

I am headed to Dubai for the first time and am more than thrilled to fly the new Emirates A380. No, unfortunately I will not be flying first class so I won’t be able to enjoy the infamous Suites!

I will however be speaking at the Middle East Money Summit and visiting the 7 star hotel. If you are in Dubai, please come say hi.

I may or may not be able to blog from the Middle East, so no promises. But I’ll be back in NY on November 4th - for ELECTION DAY (Guess who I’m voting for!!) and back to office on Wed morning.

Good luck trading FOMC.

I would like to read your assessment of Dubai’s economy. I do a lot of business there and I noticed a lot of vacancies in many of the brand new skyscrapers. But enjoy Burj-Al-Arab…it is truly a magnificent Hotel.

I’m jealous…I’d love to visit Dubai. Just don’t have sex on the beach! They’ll imprison you for that kind of behaviour!

You’re lucky. Dubai is one of those places I want to see just because of all the amazing engineered stuff they’ve done. It’s still on my ever growing “to-do” list.
